How to count words in the browser notepad
The notepad is a textarea with a counter and local auto-save. It is not a collaborative doc.
What counts as a word
Words are spans of non-space text split on whitespace. Character count includes spaces. Line count follows newline characters.
Saving
After you pause, the text is written to localStorage under toolnest.notepad so a refresh does not wipe it. Download a .txt if you need a copy outside this browser.

Is my note visible to ToolNest?+
No. It stays in the browser unless you paste it into the contact form yourself.
