HTML to PDF (Text Extraction)
Paste HTML and download a PDF of the extracted text. This is not a print-quality HTML renderer — tags are stripped, then the remaining text is laid out like the Text to PDF tool.
Your workspace
Runs in your browserBengali and Japanese fonts load from this website only when needed. PDFs with non-ASCII text use image pages to preserve shaping; their text cannot be selected or searched. Other scripts depend on your device fonts.
How to use
- 1Paste HTML into the editor.
- 2Click Create PDF.
- 3Download the text-only PDF.
What this tool does
- — Strips tags to text
- — Honest about layout limits
- — Local processing
Useful when
- — Saving article text
- — Archiving HTML email copy as text
Limits
- — Does not keep CSS, images, or visual layout. If you need a visual print, use your browser’s Print to PDF instead.
Where processing happens
HTML is parsed locally and extracted text is wrapped into a PDF. CSS and original images/layout are discarded. Non-ASCII output uses browser-shaped image pages.
Questions
Will my webpage look the same in the PDF?+
No. Only extracted text is written. The download note in the tool repeats this limitation.
