How to convert JPG or PNG images to PDF

Phone photos and screenshots are awkward to email as a dozen files. A single PDF is often what a form or a person actually wants.

Pick the matching converter

Use JPG to PDF for camera photos. Use PNG to PDF for screenshots and graphics with transparency. The PNG tool paints a white page first so transparent pixels do not become black in some readers.

How pages are built

Each image becomes one A4 page, centered and scaled to fit with a margin. Extremely wide images letterbox. This is a predictable print size, not a “page exactly as many pixels as the photo” mode.

Compress first if the PDF is huge

A 12-megapixel burst will make a heavy PDF. Run Image Compressor first if the recipient has a size cap. Compression is lossy JPEG — that is a quality trade, not a hidden watermark.
